The diary game // 08 September 2023 // The last working day of the week(Friday) diary.

Hello, lovely steemians,

It is with great joy and happiness that I come your way to share with you my daily activities for the 8 days of September 2023. Just as I always say, God is with us, and his strength and favor have found us once again.

Thanks be to the Almighty God for always giving us his grace and keeping us going and coming. Come with me and let me visualize my day with you.

I was awake by 5:20 AM and because we did not go to the field, I had some basic things to do. I therefore quickly went ahead to get some things in the right order, I started by brushing my teeth because I did not do that yesterday before going to bed. Usually, I brush before going to bed and after waking.

At the yam joint

The next thing for me to have done is to go and wash, however, I washed yesterday hence I was good to go. I then have to do something else in other to catch up with time. I continued with me bringing out all the dirty utensils and I washed them.

In about 15 minutes, I was done with that too. I was however fortunate to have finished all that on time hence I quickly fetched water and kept it on the fire. I prepared tea from the water that I had kept on the fire when it was warm. I also fried egg and add. I was happy to have gotten all the things done at that time.

I went again to the room this time around to take my bath. I was able to finish taking my bath in approximately 10 minutes. I had already ironed the dress I would wear hence all I did was jump into it when I came from the bathroom. I had also cleaned my shoes as well. Hence I was ready for work. I took my bag kept my laptop inside and left the house to work.

Doing the cleaning

A few minutes after on my way to the workplace, I met a colleague in his car going to work. He greeted me and I was happy to respond to it and we both left for our offices. When I got there, I went to write my name and I had the opportunity to log in for my colleague. When I finished I went to the COVID-19 lab designated to be able to set up the PCR machine so that would be able to run tests.

I then set the machine to run and left it to the other lab to carry out other activities. It got to a point where I was feeling hungry hence I had no other choice but to leave the lab to do other lab work.

I was feeling hungry afterward hence I went to the roadside to go and get some fried yam. Immediately I got there some friends were there hence I had to wait until it was my turn. I then gave the money and the yam was sold to me. I joyfully came to the house to eat. Right after I finished eating, a friend called.

Doing the cleaning

I go back to the workplace and have to do several other things at the lab. Unfortunately, when I was working in the hood, I had a splash of the blood I was working on. Because I was using the biosafety cabinet, nothing touched me, and also because I was using the lab coat.

I just slightly cleaned the whole thing and after work, I concentrated on clearing every aspect. I was fortunate we were having bleach and other things that helped in cleaning the spilled blood. I was able to clean it in no time and I was done with it. Later that day, I was able to remove the parts of the cabinet and clean it very well. I then returned it parts and closed it. I then went home to rest.
