This devices is one of those inventions that can make us all think: "Why didn't I came up with that idea?"
In essence it's a combination of headphone, noise-cancellation and a vision focus system used for eg horses when racing with them. Np need to put some wire into a sound device; Bluetooth connectivity is build right into the product.
One can think of many uses for this one, like at home when required to watch a documentary part of a work assignment, while children are playing to the left of your couch, or when sitting in the park reading a book, while super attractive girls (or boys) are showing off.
I would suggest to adapt the device to allow using it while travelling in airplane or car.

Its a really interesting idea and I can imagine that it would help an individual block out their surroundings. I do wonder about whether or not the inventor will be successful in selling it to the public though. I wonder about its actual appeal to people and whether someone would spend money on such a thing. One obstacle of course would be the perception of others. I can only image the jokes that co-workers would come up with if someone came into the office wearing one. So I'm interested to see if anyone will actually buy one and if we will see them around in the workforce...hmmm
