I could define the word 'magic'

At such an unguarded moment

I could see not abracadabra

but the copper dust speckled on the skies

and the golden hues lining the clouds

Iridescent mesmerizing colours

beautifully reflected in lustrous prisms

Is magical as it is mysterious

Unrevised Unrevealed Unrivalled

Back to the days of yesteryears

when I will sit by the country hills

And watch the sun go home

I gaze as in a trance

the receding glory of its glow

Moments ago like a burning inferno

now softening in its passionate warmth

Softly Slowly Silently

It threads like on a Safari

Sunset in Africa

is indeed the definition of magic

Fascinated and captivated

Watching the fiery rider of mother earth

With rays bathed in an orange haze

Sunset in Africa

Stained blood red by your setting

Sustaining life in your glitters

Spanning the virgin lands of Africa

I watch enthranced Enthralled

As the big orb finally slips down

beneath the hills of my motherland

Then I rise bathed in the magic

Of the sunset of Africa
