Psalms 91:2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
The Almighty God remains our refuge forever. The implication of this is that God is the single most important personality we can turn to for protection and Divine covering. It's important to note that the whole world lies in wickedness (1John 1:19). It's only in God we are secured. Trusting God as our refuge will destroy fear of death and fear of the unknown. We must depend on Him in these dangerous times.
He's our fortress, because we can run into Him and hide from evil. Nobody can snatch us away from God's hands.
Do you trust Him? Do you surrender everything to Him to be in charge? Jesus will never fail, but if there be security, houses, money, parents, politicians, etc they all fail. Allow Christ to be in charge and your life shall be full of peace.

Dear Lord, thank you for being our refuge and fortress. We trust in you for safety, please heal our land and let your peace reign in our homes, in Jesus name. Amen.
