Coronavirus in Nigeria
Coronaviruses (CoV) are a large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV).
The book the eyes of darkness, a 312 pages book written by Dean Koontz, published by pocket books and released in 1981 was a fictional projection that seems to be in the reality of the year 2020.
The fictional book with it's character seems to play out according to the time and place.
The title of the book best describes it's content as it's episodes are unfolding gradually.

A novel coronavirus (nCoV) is a new strain that has not been previously identified in humans.
Coronaviruses are zoonotic, meaning they are transmitted between animals and people. Detailed investigations found that SARS-CoV was transmitted from civet cats to humans and MERS-CoV from dromedary camels to humans. Several known coronaviruses are circulating in animals that have not yet infected humans.
Common signs of infection include respiratory symptoms, fever, cough, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties. In more severe cases, infection can cause pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure and even death.
Standard recommendations to prevent infection spread include regular hand washing, covering mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing, thoroughly cooking meat and eggs. Avoid close contact with anyone showing symptoms of respiratory illness such as coughing and sneezing.
World over, the virus has become a rising concern as there is no clear solution as to it's treatment. Also, the statistics of people infected or killed by the virus is under declared.
Yesterday, the Nigerian government reported the first incidence of the virus in Lagos State. Prior to this development, the Federal Government had voted money in preparations to any reported incident.
The government seems to be proactive in curbing the spreed of the virus by carrying out serious tracking of all the people the victim had contact with.
Apart from from the medical front, this coronavirus spreed which is seen as a pending Holocaust needs to be confronted and dealt with spiritually by the spirit of God, which is where the church comes in. Going back to memory lane, we will see that whenever the church makes intercessions to God concerning any matter, God intervenes, and when the church keeps silent, the church loses people.
This is a call for the body of Christ universal to arise and unite as never before and pray to to intervene in this case of Coronavirus.
Unaqueably, apart from the markets, the church and other places of worship are places where you have good number of people gathered at a time, Which is why the church should not be quite.
When there are people to pray, there is a God to answer.
The steem blockchain communities also has significant role to play in the creation of awareness and contents about the virus, as the steem blockchain communities draws her membership from different nation of the world.
To the citizens of the world, please if you know of anyone with the virus, discourage the person from intentionally spreading it as it has been reported that some carries of the virus spit on lift buttons and walls so that innocent people will also come in contact.
Let us not loose hope on the cure to coronavirus as there is nothing impossible with God.
It is my prayer that the Lord will preserve every member of this blockchain community and the church universal from this evil called coronavirus in Jesus Name! Let's continue to pray for the world especially China and Nigeria.
