A Youth’s fling,
A grown man’s habit,
Abhorrent to puritan wiles,
Obedient to Bohemian call.

I am a statistic to deter,
A sad tale to tell,
A dented device of hell.

For all I know,
I have no regrets to swallow

Just pills and chemo for tomorrow.
