Belut Aceh (Ileh)/Eels Aceh

Selamat pagi sahabat steemians. kali ini kita bercerita tentang belut rawa. ini adalah belut rawa yang ada di aceh khususnya Aceh Utara. Memang sekarang ikan ini sudah nampak berkurang boleh kita katakan sudah langka. Banyak Orang mencari ikan ini karena mengandung protein dan gizi tinggi.

Belut rawa ini berbeda dengan belut sawah, dimana ekornya mirip ekor ikan gabus sedangkan belut sawah kebanyakan ekor runcing tanpa ada sayap ekor. Orang tidak memakan belut sawah tapi belut rawa yang ekornya seperti ikan gabus. Belut juga mempunyai kelamin ganda, dimana pergantian kelamin dari betina ke jantan dalam siklus kehidupannya.

Belut muda biasanya berkelamin betina, sedangkan belut tua berkelamin jantan. Dengan adanya perubahan kelamin inilah pada belut sering terjadi kanibalisme, saling bunuh dan makan diantara mereka sendiri.

Secara alamiah belut atau ileh memakan berbagai jenis binatang kecil yang hidup atau terjatuh ke dalam air. Maka jangan heran, ketika perut belut atau Ileh dibelah, seringkali dijumpai ada anak ikan di dalam perutnya.

Belut tergolong dalam jenis hewan karnivora yaitu ikan pemakan binatang lain. Belut yang masih kecil memakan zooplankton yang halus seperti protozoa atau hewan bersel satu, udang renik, dan lain-lain. sedangkan belut dewasa memakan serangga, cacing, siput, kodok, dan benih-benih ikan yang masih lemah.

Berikut beberapa kandungan gizi yang terdapat pada daging belut : kolesterol, protein, air, sodium, kaloris tinggi, omega 3 dan omega 6, vitamin A, C, dan E, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B6 dan B12, Folate, pantothenic acid, chaolin, kalsium, zat besi, magnesium, fosfor, Pttasium, zodium, zink, selenium, dan mangan

This swamp eel is different from the paddy eel, where the tail is like a fish tail of cork, while the eels of rice fields are mostly pointed tail without any tail wings. People do not eat eel pads but swamp eels whose tail is like a fish cork. Eels also have double sex, where the sex change from female to male in its life cycle.

Young eels are usually female, while the old eels are male. Given these genital changes in the eel often occur cannibalism, kill each other and eat among themselves.
