What is the Best and Easiest way to Find a Job?
We all know how difficult it is to find a well paying job in today's economy especially in Nigeria, and how the rate of unemployment is very high. In fact, in today's era, being a graduate is not a straight guarantee that you will have the best job.
However this is because, in every year, about millions of people graduate in each of the prestigious Universities in Nigeria, and looking at the way Nigeria is, out of this millions, it can happen that, only few thousand will have a job and the rest of graduates becomes unemployed, which make unemployment rate accumulate each year.

Well, there have been a time in my life, where I was job hunting, that time was when I was done with high school, and I was trying to earn a little income for myself.
However, ever since I gained admission into the university, I have just been focusing on my studies, and then there is no time for me to be working. So the answer is NO, I am not looking for a job now, nevertheless, I am preparing myself for tomorrow.

Having an understanding that it is very difficult to get a well paying job, but this does not mean you can't get one, sometimes, it only takes few people to meet up with the criteria, which makes it easier in securing a well paid job. Therefore, what are the criteria?
Graduate in any of the institution: Most time, people think that going to school is scam, well if you are a Nigerian or following the Nigeria trend, you will be familiar with the slogan that "school is scam" this is because of how the Nigerian system is, well, but you must know that, one of the easiest way to get a job today is to be a graduate, well this is sometimes not a guarantee, but certainly will help, cause there are some jobs that are only open for graduate. In times like this, people who are graduate have higher chances, than those who are not.
Getting a skill: People don't really understand how important it is to hone a skill, aside from chasing your dream of being a graduate, one must also try to master a particular skill, even as a student, this will add up to your own advantage, a lot of companies these days also look at few things like what you can offer to the company, other than your certificate as a graduate, so with your skill, you can present yourself to be the right candidate for that job.
Setting your profile online: Many will see this as waste of time, but in today's era, where everything is digitalize, setting your profile is important, most companies post their form for job application online, setting your profile, is some kind of "invitation to treat" in which, will make it easy, for companies to access you via online.

Getting a job in Nigeria today is very difficult, the country has made it hard for people who are unskilled or who are not graduate to get a job, cause now for you to get employed, you must have something to render, so an unskilled person would have nothing to offer.
What makes it difficult? when it comes to this, there are a lot of factors, sometimes our leaders contribute in making it hard, corruption has taken over, people now secure job for their love ones, even if they do not fit for that position , employment level is low, due to the fact, we do not have big companies that can really employ thousands of people, when looking at companies in Nigeria, aside from the banking sector, we don't really have companies in other sector in Nigeria that is really develop and lastly to my list population rate, the current population in Nigeria today is also very, which makes unemployment too high.
What can be done if you can't find a job? |

Having said from the start that, getting a skill is very important, especially if you are Nigerian, cause with the way the system is, not a everybody who are graduate would have a well paying jobs like working in the bank, ministry of works and vice versa, but venturing into learning skills like makeup artist, fashion design, photography and lot more could help you establish yourself and still have your dreams achieved.
