EDC Blockchain Digest: Decentralization, Submitting to App Store and Access to Top Information

At the end of June, we reported on the successful deployment of a test node and a variety of technical challenges that developers are facing in the process of switching to a decentralized blockchain.

The main purpose of the platform decentralization is to enable the system to exist without control from individuals, any companies and its representatives, as well as to provide its large community (more than 1.3 million wallets are registered in the system) with additional opportunities for development.

EDC Blockchain participants will be able to host nodes, support the blockchain with their computing resources, and receive rewards through mining.

The decentralization process continues

The following toolkit has been formed, which is in the process of implementation: transformation of the mining mechanism.

During this process, users will be able to deploy blockchain witness nodes to validate blocks on their own server facilities. A link to download the node, instructions on how to deploy and configure it, as well as a form for filling out an application for connecting to the network will be posted in the public domain.

The nodes connected to the blockchain will have associated accounts to receive a reward for confirmed blocks and a reward for the commission collected by the blockchain. During this stage, EDC Blockchain programmers will monitor the work of the node owners in order to eliminate failures and minimize any risks, as well as provide information, manuals on working with nodes and prepare them to work with voting and switching to the second stage of decentralization.
