Crocodile farm in Yalta
Crocodile farm in Yalta, also known as Yalta Crocodilarium, is a relatively new attraction attracting fans of fauna, particularly reptiles and amphibians. The idea of creating such an unusual corner appeared after the birth of 77 Nile crocodiles in the Alushta aquarium. Young people were allocated a new house, which for 5 years turned into the largest exposition of reptiles. The main purpose of the crocodile farm is to create comfortable conditions for the reproduction of reptiles and the subsequent increase in their population. In addition to crocodiles themselves, represented in all their diversity (more than one hundred species), here live turtles, lizards, reptiles, as well as frogs and fish. The Crocodilarium collected the most ancient representatives of the animal world, whose image for many centuries remained virtually unchanged.
