Cala Mesquida

Kala Meskida is a resort town and an amazing natural area in the north-east of the island of Mallorca, separated from its main part by a mountain range. Features of this untouched place are considered to be its calm atmosphere, magnificent landscapes and chic possibilities for rest.

Most of all people are attracted by a picturesque beach with clear water and white sand. It is located in a bay, surrounded on all sides by rocks, overgrown with mastic trees and pine trees, which gives it a very cozy appearance. The territory of the sandy belt is small - about 100 m wide and 300 m long. By the way, the beach belongs to the zakaznik, where the largest colonies of cormorants and gulls live in the Balearic Islands. And it's self-healing, because its sand dunes fill themselves with sand.

Due to the season of powerful winds that create quite strong waves, ships never enter the bay. Therefore, the coast is extremely popular among windsurfers and fans of water skiing scooters.

The beach zone is conditionally divided into two parts: one is given to naked nudists, and the other is liked by connoisseurs of quiet pastime and married couples with children. It is very clean and there are all conditions for recreation - rescuers work, there are sunbeds, umbrellas and several cafes where you can have a snack.
