We continue working here - digging holes and planting trees and bushes in our 'free time'. Today we have a very interesting perspective on lawns, and our new favorite lawn invader - the wild violet.
Stay tuned because I will be breaking out some twitter bounties over the next week and more - follow me @ecoinstant here and/or there to make sure you get the news - we will be earning steem, SBI, freex and even other tokens for playing around with twitter :)

Hi guys! Happy spring! :)

That might be a flowering pear like this one, which doesn't bear fruit:
But of course, there are pear trees that obviously do bear fruit, so I don't know! LOL
I hope y'all are having fun on your permaculture site. It's good to see you getting back in the posting groove!
Thank you! Yes, I think one of these is a 'flowering' pear, and I will have to look up what the deal is with the no fruit, or are the fruits just so small that they don't count? Because, biologically don't they need fruit to keep the mojo going?
My dad has a pear tree that does have pears too, so maybe I can compare the flowers and the fruits :) Plants are like a never-ending amount of fun!
Honestly I don't know, but you would think. Maybe the male is one and the female is another? I just know there are some around here and they're planted, not native - and no fruit! Maybe your two will make babies.
