Who Am I?
No, who am I really?!
Really, Who the f*!ck am i?
There he sits, this form called Alex
Gliding through life, coasting through the days and nights.
Here sits this body, alive and awake, and...
Conscious.
What is this consciousness?
Where am I, not here nor there..
Not inside or out, but somewhere I am, somewhere I must be?
Who sees through my eyes
When I look at the stars
Who witnesses the sunrise
When im lost in deep thought
Who’s holding the reigns?
Whose directing my mind?
The conscious, the unconscious, or am i something else entirely?
What is the unconscious mind?
TO know that, I have to know where am i...
I am not That...
I am closer to the higher conscious mind.
Here sits the soul that drives and steers this body and this mind
This great expansive all knowing I, that lives far beyond
me.
I am not this or that.
I am.
My thoughts are not from within
They are not my own
That inspiration, those ideas, my creativity flow,
it's not mine and its not me
i am not my thoughts
i am the experiencer of my thoughts
my mind is minor mystery
compared to me
my unconscious mind is just a blanket
to protect, and keep me here in this duality.
My unconscious mind is like the secret service
It's works on a need to know basis,
Hiding the truth...
Spoon feeding the facts.
Here to serve and protect,
Guided by the higher conscious mind,
for me,
whoever I am.
It even protects my identity
allows me to play this game of life
through the tiny lens of consciousness.
