People get malaria when a mosquito that is infected with the plasmodium parasite bites a person,

Not every mosquito can transmit malaria.

The mosquito that is capable of transmitting malaria to people is Female Anopheles mosquito this mosquito after biting a person will transmit the parasite into the body system.

The 5 things that we can do to stop malaria are as follows

• people should always sleep inside mosquito nets to avoid the bite of mosquitoes.

• people should always spray pesticides such as pyrethroids/pyrethrins in their rooms to control mosquitoes and kill them.

• people should always wear a long-sleeved shirt and trousers before sleeping.

• people should always keep their rooms clean because dirty environments actually attract mosquitoes in our environments and also our rooms.

• people should always avoid pouring water in their rooms and also avoid stagnant water because pouring dirty water around the house can help spread lots of mosquitoes around the environment and stagnant water helps mosquitoes to breathe.

Generally, when a person is infected with malaria, there are signs that a person will feel such as

• Discomfort of the body system
• chills
• fever
• abdominal pains
• nausea
• headache etc
  All of the above are signs of malaria in a person.

It is important to find malaria at an early stage so that a person should treat it in an early stage to prevent malaria from stepping to a chronic level.

Chronic malaria can lead a person to an early grave and can affect a person's nervous system thereby making a person behave abnormally.

How does Malaria affect communities, and what can we do to fight it?

Malaria affects communities in the following way

Mosquitoes breathe inside stagnant water, this is to say that mosquitoes will be available in those communities that are found with the habit of keeping stagnant water.

Mosquitoes also live in communities where there are overgrown weeds. This is to say that communities should avoid keeping overgrown weeds to avoid the presence and bites of infected plasmodium mosquitoes.

We can only control malaria through cutting of cutting off overgrown weeds in our communities

We can control malaria by controlling stagnant waters

We can also control malaria by health educating the community members on the use of mosquito nets and pesticide use. etc

Why are mosquitoes linked to Malaria, and how can we control them to stop the disease?

Mosquitoes are linked to malaria because the female anopheles mosquitoes that Are responsible for spreading the parasite are affected by the plasmodium disease.

Once this infected mosquito bites a person, the person will be infected with the disease.

How has treating and preventing Malaria changed, and what problems are we still facing in getting rid of it?

Treating and preventing malaria in today's society is advancing every day because scientist are trying their best to catch live mosquitoes for specimen and also detect different species of malaria and manufacture drugs for the whole species of malaria

The American government is also trying its best to support Nigeria with drugs and mosquito nets that treat malaria.

Problems that we are still facing in getting rid of malaria are

The majority of communities in our society today found the habit of creating room for rodent manifestation thereby ignoring stagnant water and overgrown weeds. etc
