Fun argument over the weekend "what guys can do, ladies can do it even better.

Hello beloved friends and steemians, I hope you enjoyed your weekend very well. It's new week, new dispensation, fun and excitement from God's love keeping us alive, healthy and hearty. Let me share with you the fun of the weekend on one radio program. A multivational and the funniest argument by the young graduates, which I happened to participate through phone calls. "what guys can do, ladies can do it even better"

Sometimes, and somedays, one or group of people, would just pop up with some debate to made the day program. We the fan of radio station from the onset, used to witness and contribute to the occasion especially on matters that concerns the youth growth and development. Most of this argument is to encourage genders in general, to be pressured to improve to the higher level for the benefit of mankind and the entire society at large.

Yesterday evening, one radio station had a program captioned youth at heart which a lot selected graduate and undergraduate, are merged to host, and oversees by the adult radio presenters, the young at heart meaning people who have over grown the stage of youth but in likeness and in love with issues that concerns young people.

This program was hosted with the topic, to popularly spoken about even before now "what guys can do, ladies can do it even better" it was very fun when it raised a huge argument between young ladies and guys. Some argue that in the country, there are lot of male comedians, reputable female engineer, pilot and politicians. And no side was able to win the argument since there are instance if not instances of ladies in those profession. The presenters put this argument to the public, to tell us why there are only few females in some fields of profession in the country? Eg. Politics.

There were many contributions from the general public based on the individual opinions. Some said, some profession are not suitable for the ladies since it requires physical strength and the ladies not naturally built with such strength, like the nature of politics in the country and some work like engineering works involves some physical energy. While some said that every person is opportuned to venture into any field he or she has passion for to which the person can perform very well.

My take through phone call program participation
There are cultural mentality to which people respect so much Inspite of modernization. I wouldn't say until this attachment is removed but be able to handle what is possible still respect the culture at the same time. From time immemorial, documentary has it that women are privatised which means the are are owned by men and not meant to hold on their own opinions but obedient to the instructions of the husbands. That this has the absolute power to draw women back from becoming some personality. And till today, the same cultural practices applies.

For instance, I heard from a caller saying that women should go into politics, and was interrupted by the next caller, asking him whether he would allow his wife to join political movement in the country? In a sense that your wife is in board meeting when you needed her the most maybe for food preparation or satisfaction or more? And the caller refused to reply.

So to summarise my opinions in the argument, I said let the culture be respected while we use understanding to do more engaging everyone in the various areas of expertise. We have women layers and they have an exceptional performance, teachers, presenters, pilots, engineers etc. We can do more even in politics, it's all revolves around understanding and level of enlightment. Thank a husband climb a higher position, doesn't deprive his duties as a husband and that a wive climb a higher position also never deprive her from performance as a wife. One time American woman President was a proof of my argument understanding and enlightment. A woman president who comes back home and kneal down before her husband in loyalty and respect not and never a punishment.

We can do more than the above instance. When someone, occupies a seat feeling like God is out of the way of successful plans to expand and shape the society in a better format. If both men and women get better self training and development in the country to improve and expand more in every field, regardless of gender, the world will surely rejoice endlessly because the productivity is going to be enormous to only feed the host country.

Therefore let's expand our developmental horizon with understanding and enlightment for our good and for the good of the society at large. Gender is never a barrier.
