Ever Heard About The "Rat Park" Experiment?
Well here is a blog that tells again about the real madness we live in, and why society needs to a system change, because as it stands our model is merely killing us.
Society does not reward 75% of population -- as we all know. The top 10% is taking advantage of a Natural Law which works again selfishness, because in the eyes of the Universe all that matters is compassion and empathy.
Just look at the planet today - the clues are right in our faces!
Humans are not designed to compete because competition works in so many ways against our need for inclusion, and belonging to a society, which makes us feel worthy and has a purpose. Instead, people tend to fight against one another and befriend only those able to raise their standards of living, while ignoring the suffering of those working for slave wages at the bottom so that the illusion can continue.
The purpose of life has nothing to do with wealth accumulation. It is all a giant machination that we must get rid of. And the sooner the better.
The Rat Park Experiment makes it pretty clear, that humans become suicidal when losing their inner sparkle as a result of isolation and lack of cooperation. The drug war is can never be won if we do not abolish it and heal society. And by the same token, we could say the same about alcoholism.
The real purpose of opium, cocaine, cannabis and ayahuasca (any other plant medicine) is to help promote our healing when we are sick, wounded or emotionally disconnected from Nature.
Moreover, one has to ponder why humanity has not gotten rid of wars yet. This is again very telling, folks. Look no further!
Because when a society functions into "a slow motion suicidal mode", the latter is going to condone mass murder and the destruction of Nature alike silently, people in such a society being conditioned into thinking that there cannot be any other social model possible. Simple.
We need a full-fledged intellectual revolution, and to terminate competition, but in order to do this without too many shocks to the system implies "degrowing" the world economy, gradually, until we can safely shift toward a Resource Based Economy.
A money-free society is not a flawless model, and there will still be issues that will need to be dealt with but it is time to fathom a life without all the crimes related to money and the lack thereof - a world that is 80-85% more peaceful.
All these lies must be left behind and replaced with the quest for humanity's origins and developing peace on earth. And the sooner the better!
RAT PARK - OFFICIAL TRAILER DOC
Behind the scenes of the new Vice Canada feature documentary - Rat Park. Could the secret to solving the world’s drug crisis lie in a forgotten psychology experiment from the 1970s involving rats and heroin? RAT PARK examines the complex issues of drug laws and addiction, exploring why the problem may not be about the drugs themselves, but the environments we live in. Following three stories worlds apart, RAT PARK examines the impact of drug policy in the world’s war on drugs. A VICE Canada / Crave Original Documentary
Pitfalls With Previous Rat-Based Studies On Drug Addiction
The Rat Park Experiment aimed to prove that psychology – a person’s mental, emotional, and psychosocial states – was the greatest cause of addiction, not the drug itself. Prior to Alexander’s experiment, addiction studies using lab rats did not alter the rat’s environment. Scientists placed rats in tiny, isolated cages and starved them for hours on end. The “Skinner Boxes” the rats lived in 24/7 allowed no room for movement and no interaction with other rats.
