PROMOTING STEEM THRU FACEBOOK PAGE WITH ALMOST 5000 FOLLOWERS!

I recently volunteered myself to help promote steem. I am not an official promoter, but I am committed to helping the community grow and reach more people. I told myself that I will do my very best to share steem with more people. And my first step is to promote it to social media platforms like Facebook. I and my friend is managing a Facebook page called Hoop Press. We already have 3,898 likes and 4,534 followers as you can see in the photo below. With those numbers, I think it's a good start.

How can we promote steemit thru Social Media

I thought of an idea to mention steemit every time we post on our Facebook page. We also put a link where people can get more information about steemit. They can check out the link where they can see the newcomer's guide on how to steemit. We actively post on our page about sports and I believe everybody is watching and reading news about sports every day. Especially basketball now, because it's already the playoffs in the NBA. We will have many people reaching our posts, and some might actually put interest in steemit while reading our posts on Hoop Press.


Another way of improving our visibility is to share our posts with other Facebook groups. I joined a lot of sports and NBA groups on Facebook with hundreds of thousands of members. Every time we had a post on our page we immediately share it on lots of Facebook groups. This way, we will reach more people. Here is an example of what I'm talking about.

In the photo above. We publish a post about the latest in the NBA. Jordan Clarkson winning the sixth man of the year and Julius Randle winning the Most improved Player of the Year awards. Followed by our Steem Promotion mentioning steemit and dropping a link about steemit. We also left a quote saying "Make Contents and Get Paid".


And that's it. I think this is a great way to start promoting steemit on social media. Many people are spending too much time on social media nowadays so I am confident that this campaign of mine will reach more people. More people will notice steemit and they will join us. We will also try more ways to promote steemit.


I am currently talking to my workmates here in the Philippines and probably they will soon start joining steemit. Will make an update and document it as soon as they created their accounts.
