Some problems in our life if we ignore then it might turn out in losing our lives and Water Scarcity is the foremost problem that everyone is facing. Our earth has 75% of the water out of which 3% of water is available for us, and out of that 3%, only less than 1% is fit for drinking.Reports say that water is getting polluted to a limit and people are crossing that limit.
Now talking about India, India has the world’s second largest population. The population in India is too big. And along with corruption and riot affected country, India is gradually also turning into a nation affected by Water Crisis. Major parts of India, especially in Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, The National Capital Region (NCR), Southern states etc. are facing water crisis nowadays.Latur, Bundelkhand, Delhi (NCR) and Karnataka are some of the most affected areas.Even disputes are seen in the name of water. In Latur, there have been chances of violence too, that is why “Dhara 144” was applied. Latur needs 2 Crore liters of water every day, and it is getting water supply just once a month. In Bundelkhand, the situation is such, that finding neat and clean water is not less than a miracle.
You can see varieties of illnesses caused due to water scarcity. People are losing their lives. Homes are being destroyed. These are not the only areas in India. Soon enough, more than half of India will be affected by this situation. It is worth thinking and imagining that the 3% water, which is used by us, is fulfilling the needs of about 740 Crore people, all the animals in the world and the plants.
People should start learning through their mistake and try to do water management so that they don't face the problem of the water crisis. People still have time to think over this once again. Government should also start making some strict decisions so that no one dies due to Water Scarcity
