Teriberka village on the edge of the Kola Peninsula on the shores of the Barents Sea.
In the days of the USSR, there was a large village with fishing collective farms, fish factories, a hospital, shipyards and much more.
Now Teriberka is in decline, houses are falling apart.
The new hope of the village in tourism!
You can see one new house with ceramic granite tiles. This is a renovated house of culture!

By the way, now it is snowing heavily and the road to Teriberka is closed.
5 cars with tourists stuck in the snow, they are waiting for machinery for cleaning the road.

Teriberka Dorf am Rande der Halbinsel Kola am Ufer der Barentssee. In den Tagen der UdSSR gab es ein großes Dorf mit Fischersammelbetrieben, Fischfabriken, einem Krankenhaus, Werften und vielem mehr.
Jetzt ist Teriberka im Niedergang, Häuser fallen auseinander. Die neue Hoffnung des Dorfes im Tourismus!
Sie können ein neues Haus mit keramischen Granitfliesen sehen. Dies ist ein renoviertes Kulturhaus!

Übrigens schneit es jetzt stark und die Straße nach Teriberka ist gesperrt. 5 Autos mit Touristen, die im Schnee stecken, warten auf Ausrüstung, um die Straße freizumachen.

Well, its certainly not a place for the average tourists, I'd say. I assume, its not cheap to get there, to begin with. And why shall people go there? Just to say "I was there", like in Antarctica? I don't know.... Without the sponsoring by the government it will stay a difficult place to live. And may be its a good thing. At least its a region that is not already ruined by civilisation, unlike most other places in the world.
