What Flowers Signal Spring to Me?
Spring is almost upon us and things are starting to move in the garden and local parks
Spring to me means a new beginning and the starts of warmer weather
The Snowdrop in late January
The snowdrop looks a fragile little flower but that couldn't be further from the truth. The snowdrop is super hardy, it will take frost, hail, snow, or driving rain. After bad weather it's still stood firm with its perfectly white little head bobbing away.
The Crocus in Early February
The crocus shows its brilliant colours of yellows purple and blue in early February. Usually found in clusters or large groups. These too are very hardy. The ones i see in the local park usually end up under water after heavy rains but that don't seem to effect them.
The Dafodil in Early March
The daffodils appear in all their glory in early to mid March. Standing tall and proud with heads nodding in the wind. Mainly yellow in colour they signal an end to winter and the start of spring.
The Tulip in late March
The tulip is such an elegant plant with long stems and beautiful bowl shaped flowers. Tulips come in many different colours or mixes of colours. This flower signal that we are heading towards the warmer weather and the summer gardening season
Those are very pretty flowers. I like the red ones
The amazing flower,i like, flower so beautiful.
