Garden Update. First one of the year
So today was a really nice warm day and an ideal one to get the garden sorted for summer. First job was to clear the winter bedding of viola's which were still flowering beautifully. But there time was up.
Then to repair any decking troughs that were starting to come apart. And then repaint them
Above is my side garden which is like a Spanish court yard.
I planted up the long pot with Fuchsia's and also the hay basket.. Trailing for the sides and upright for the top. Plus the two roses are to plant up
At the front of my house i planted up the hay basket with Fuchsia's and the long planters were planted with phlox and Lavender.
I also got the planters potted up against the new trellis from last year. Mainly Phlox and Cosmos in with the older roses
I also got the 3 planters down the side of my house planted up with Phlox and Lavender like this one above.
Now onto the larger job of my back garden.. repairing my old decking and sprucing everything up.
