Steemit & me: A year after

Somehow, a wrong date was in my mind and I wasn't checking for few moths and it was normal to me that I joined Steemit on July 28th 2016. But no, it was six days before on July 22nd and I missed to celebrate. But it is never too late. And it's Friday, I don't work tomorrow, so probably I'll find the proper way to celebrate one year of this unusual friendship that I gained.

When I started to write posts here, I considered to write only about my music production, Cubase and VST plugins, studio equipment, but very soon I realized that these things were not very interesting to those who were first Steemit users. So I started to write about all instead od things that I enjoy the most.

During last 12 months, I was good, I was bad, I was calm, I was frustrated and it took some time to realize the real purpose of my favorite place on the internet.

That purpose is our community itself, mutual support and unselfishness. I was rewarded for things when I didn't deserve that, I wasn't rewarded when I deserved that. I was flagged and I also flagged. This friendly community wasn't created by some developers, it was created by us, regular users who found out that the only way to stay here is to be friendly and positive.
In my "outside life" during the last 12 months I had also significant changes.

M.K. (32), a rapper, music producer, song writer, weed smoker, civil engineer, math teacher and court expert for the cases of architecture and constructions. I changed three jobs while I was blogging on Steemit, married the woman that was my girlfriend for 9 years! 12 days ago we got a daughter.

I don't think that anything on the internet made me more creative and eager like Steemit. I was never interested in photography, I took maybe 50 photos in whole my life before Steemit and more than 10 000 after I joined here. I can't stand injustice, ass lickers and abusers, so my posts oscillate between happiness and rage and my followers accepted me that way. I am passionate person and I don't hide what's in my mind. I posted something here every fuckin day, no matter if the price of Steem was 7 cents or 2.5$ so I think I passed the test.
I powered up, powered down, powered up again, down again (there were times when I was really penniless and tried to organize my wedding), canceled that, learned how to trade on exchange site using micro amounts and all that was inspired by Steemit.

To prove to others the value of this network, I bought a baby stroller and a cot with money that I earned here. So people around me don't ask me stupid questions anymore. I'm proud to say that some really good Steemers came here because my friends and I suggested that.

So, I'm here and I'm not going anywhere. I hope that I made you laugh at least once. I just wonder what I'll be writing here for another 12 months! Thank you!
