The largest iPhone will work with 2 SIM cards
Apple is preparing two more smartphones this year
Apple is preparing for this year's three smartphones, the biggest in the history iPhone, an updated version of the iPhone X and a cheaper model with some flagship features. This was announced by Bloomberg, citing "informed" sources.
The 6.5-inch iPhone, codenamed D33, thanks to its flawless design like the iPhone X, will get the same size as the iPhone 8 Plus, despite the increase in screen size. In prototypes developed, the resolution is 1242 x 2688 pixels, ie. the expressiveness of the screen will be at the level of the 5.8-inch iPhone X. Apple is also planning to use OLED panel and face recognition technology in Face ID.
The updated iPhone X, codenamed D32, like the iPhone X Plus, will receive a next-generation A12 processor and will retain its metal frame.
Apple is exploring the opportunity to launch an extra golden version for the new iPhone X and iPhone X Plus. For the iPhone X Plus, it is also possible to show a model supporting two SIM cards.
A final decision has not yet been taken. It is not out of the question for Apple to climb the proliferation of E-SIM technology, allowing interconnection to different networks without the need to change the chip.
As a "budget" proposal, a design with an iPhone X and Face ID design will be launched instead of a fingerprint scanner. This smartphone will get cheaper LCD panels, an aluminum frame and a glass rear panel like the iPhone 8.
