The Big News is here: It's been over a decade since the world last saw an entry in the revered "Age of Empires" game franchise. The studio that created the series was disbanded, its principal leaders scattered across the game industry.
In 2017, Microsoft is bringing the series back — and fans are very excited some have even gone nuts lol.
I loved Age of Empires. Problem is I have nothing to run it on these days unless they release a Linux version. I play the Open Source equivalent 0.a.d. https://play0ad.com which is cross platform and plays on both Windows and Linux. I may have to get a Windows machine. :-)
