How Are you Using Your Talent?
Text: “His Master replied well done, good and faithful servant? You have been faithful with a few thing; I will put you in charge of many things come and share your master’s happiness Mathew 25:21.
Message
One talent worth about six thousand denaries in this context, Jesus uses this monetary unit to refer to the abilities or opportunities that one has. To every man on earth, God has given ability, opportunity and responsibility for the glory of God. (Romans 12:6) Our role is to be faithful for the talents God has been given to us, in order to make God pleased in our lives.
The talents were given according to the capability of the individual to perform (Eph. 4:11). God expects the recipients to make use of what he deposited on them for the effective of His kingdom.
And made another five talents:
God expects that every one should be accountable for the talents that were delivered unto his hands, and He expects us to invest them wisely until He returns.
I have gained more talents:
The five and two talents servants recipients were commended on the basis of their faithfulness and stewardship (Luke 12:44). If one determines to serve God, God in returns will increases the person both spiritually and physically.
Conclusion:
Well done, good and faithful servant: O! what greater words could ever be heard from God? Christians should endeavour to work for God in order to receive a wonderful commendation from their maker (God).
