CyberVR-3 - This Illustration is what got me a job with Columbia Records
Interestingly this is the illustration that caught the eye of a newly signed band to Columbia Records which commissioned me to illustrate their debut album art and logo. Tbh I don't know how I was found as I'm not that prolific and in the past would only make a handful of posts on my social platforms per year. I guess the band had been following me for some time and when they were ready they got their management to contact me, but I'm going to leave that story to some near future posts here on Steemit.
The past decade or so I've been producing 99% my art digitally, but I think I'm going to save up and maybe purchase an airbrush as I'd like to create more tactile art. I think Steemit has given all of us the means to subsidize such things as supplies, materials and equipment that we may not have had an opportunity to acquire so easily before.
