Intentionality as a Factor to Effective Descipleship
One of the factor to Effective Discipleship is for you to become intentional about being discipled.
You must intentionally do certain things, take certain steps to learning from whoever you want to disciple you.
You must know what you are looking for....
See, if you want to move faster in your discipleship, don't expect to learn more from the mouth of your discipler, learn from his actions, his behaviors, study him as a person.
Observe! Observe!! Observe!!!
Most of the things I learnt where from observation.
Most times many of us expects them to be calling us all the time to talk but they have work to do also, so it will take your intentionality to get what you want.
It was never written in the Bible where Elijah told Elisha to strike the River with his mantle in order to part the River, but Elisha learnt this from Observation (Watching his teacher closely)
May I let you know that one criteria to carry the grace of your teacher is close observation no wonder Elijah said to Elisha if you can see me as I'm taken to heaven.
