Aceh Tsunami Museum located on Jl. Sultan Iskandar Muda Banda Aceh. Aceh Tsunami Museum was established to commemorate the tsunami that hit Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam on December 26, 2008.

The Aceh Tsunami Museum features an electronic simulation of the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake, photographs of victims and stories of survivors. The museum building looks very artistic and unique.

The building is impressed magnificent with outside looks like a great rescue boat. On the roof of a high enough building is made as a park with the concept of escape hill that can serve as a place of evacuation and save yourself when the tsunami came back, when viewed from the sky, the building of this museum shaped figures six and nine are mutually binding.
