Rapping them up
When I look around me, in this world, my Mother Earth, the scale of problems seem grander every day. I look for some small act of kindness, some goodness… to confirm my beliefs. Because of its size, the remedy will have to be grander, but I need that confirmation of the good and the beautiful that is as gentle as a rose petal — as slight as my eyes, as forgiving as a whisper, as kindhearted as the hands of my love.
I weep because in all of this, as I lament the level of problems in our world, I was left four little flowers wrapped in a pink bow - on my doorstep. A random act of kindness, or perhaps love or perhaps a joining of hearts.
It didn’t solve the problems of the world, but, for a few glorious moments, it renewed my faith in people, that we are still capable of loving one another - people love.

I used to grow these flowers in my wildflower garden. Gaura are such dainty flowers that remind us of the fragile moments we have in life that the heart is sometimes humbled by. That's my take on this beautiful flower. From the heart!!!

I do believe love and kindness will prevail, because that is our true nature. I will never give up on humanity and its potential to break free from the chains created by corruption. It is very simple, yet very hard. All we can do is be patient, have faith and keep spreading kindness the best way we can.
