Review Headphones Bose QC35 Wireless Noise Cancelling - best gift to myselft!

Hi there!

I don't use to write reviews, but in this case I'd like to talk about the best gift to myself for my last birthday: The Bose QC35!

First at all I want to clearify I'm not an audiophile. I was just looking for some headphones, but I have to recognize I have something what could be a big personal problem, each time I want to buy something I do a huge reserach of information 0:-). As I said at the beginning I was just looking for some headphones with good quality, but as far I was starting my research I thougt what kind of use would I give them so I could find the best match for me.

After analysing my daily needs this was what I was looking for:

• Good sound quality, if I want to spend money I want to get some quality in return
• Wireless, I'm not planning to use them in the gym or for running, but in these days mobility is almost a must have
• Over ear, I think it's the most confortable one for the use I want them
• Noise cancelling, this one was something I was not looking for until I try them :-o

I'm not going to do a full review/unboxing of the product, as you can find many online made by experts, but I'll give a short review of a product which has made got in love :-)

My initial budget was around 150-200$ but one day I made the mistake of entering into a Bose store and try them. In that moment the buyer turned them on I stopped earing the soundtrack of "Gladiator" which was playing in a huge TV with a quite high volume, and my Spotify list started to play clear and full of details.

In that moment I picture myself enjoying the peace of silence again, and made my budget jump to 300-350$, but it's something I do not regreat.

This was a first love relationship :)

The Bose QC35 are really light, the noise cancelling is the best one I have found (to be clear, it does not cancell the 100% of the sounds, it is specially good with background noise as traffic jams or the noise of the plane, but it doesn't blocked the voice of a person if it's screaming to you directly).

This noise cancelling has made my life better in many situations:

• when I've been flying, being able to forget there are noisy turbines around me
• in the public transport
• when I wanted to study, not only at the library but at home, as it helps me enter in an environment of silence where I can concentrate much more!
• and just listening music or watching films in a daily basis

They feeling of the product is high quality and the most important characteristics are:

• they are totally foldable and they come with a hard case to transport them, together with a USB charging cable, backup audio cable and airline adapter
  

• there is an external microphone that measures, compares and reacts to outside noise, cancelling them with the opposite signal.

• there are buttons the three playback buttons: volume up, volume down, and play/pause, also used to skip or rewind, take and end calls, and trigger Google Now. There are also two LED indicators, one for Bluetooth pairing and another one for battery life
  

• they have easy (almost inmediatly) Bluetooth and NFC pairing

• microphone to be able to use them as hands free

• 20-hour battery life per charge and up to 40 hours in wired mode (this is what the is written in the specifications but I have the feeling they last a bit more than 20 hours)

Some things you should consider before to buy them:

• you can use them when the* battery is over or off* just to save battery, but without Noise Cancelling. The NC option is only available when they are connected wireless
• they might be one of the most expensive headphones in their category (wireless with Noise Cancelling), and it will depends of what you're looking for to catalogue them are expensive or not. In my case it was worth
