THE REAL communication is our effort to grab attention, love, interest, concern, sympathy, responses, or positive responses from others.

To be able to achieve all that it must understand the essence of communication that is Respect, Empathy, Audible, Charity and Humble. The five essences are then abbreviated to REACH which means embracing or grabbing.

Let's discuss one by one about this REACH. First about Respect, where in communicating a communicator must have an attitude of appreciation to every individual who became the target of communication messages. Remember, if communicators build communication with mutual respect and respect, then both communicator and communicant built cooperation to produce effectiveness in communicating.

Then about Empathy, where before sending a message, communicators need to understand and understand or can put themselves like the condition of communicant. So that later messages will be delivered without any psychological barriers in the form of rejection of the communicant.

Then about Audible, where the message communicator communicated to the communicant can be well understood. In this personal communication the delivery of messages through media or channel intermediaries, do not get hindered obstacles so obscure the meaning of the actual message.

Next about Charity, where the meaning of the message must be clear so that the message conveyed communicator does not cause a variety of different interpretations that affect various kinds. By the way, in communicating also need to develop an open attitude in order to generate trust from the communicant so as not to cause mutual suspicion.

And the last thing about Humble, where in any building effective communication must be with a humble attitude. According to communication experts, this low self-esteem is closely related to the respect of others.

Pahami Ini Agar Komunikasi Anda Efektif

SESUNGGUHNYA komunikasi adalah upaya kita meraih perhatian, cinta kasih, minat, kepedulian, simpati, tanggapan, ataupun respon positif dari orang lain.

Untuk dapat meraih semua itu maka harus mengerti esensi komunikasi yaitu Respect, Empathy, Audible, Charity dan Humble. Kelima esensi tersebut kemudian disingkat menjadi REACH yang memiliki arti merengkuh atau meraih.

Mari kita bahas satu persatu tentang REACH ini. Pertama tentang Respect, di mana dalam berkomunikasi seorang komunikator harus memiliki sikap menghargai kepada setiap individu yang menjadi sasaran pesan komunikasi. Ingatlah, jika komunikator membangun komunikasi dengan sikap saling menghargai dan menghormati, maka baik komunikator maupun komunikan terbangun kerjasama sehingga menghasilkan efektivitas dalam berkomunikasi.

Lalu tentang Empathy, di mana sebelum mengirimkan pesan, komunikator perlu mengerti dan memahami atau bisa menempatkan diri seperti kondisi komunikan. Sehingga nantinya pesan yang akan disampaikan tanpa ada hambatan psikologis berupa penolakan dari komunikan.

Kemudian tentang Audible, di mana pesan yang disampaikan komunikator kepada komunikan dapat dimengerti dengan baik. Dalam komunikasi personal ini adanya penyampaian pesan melalui media atau perantara saluran, jangan sampai terhalang hambatan sehingga mengaburkan makna pesan yang sebenarnya.

Selanjutnya tentang Charity, di mana makna pesan harus jelas sehingga pesan yang disampaikan komunikator tidak menimbulkan berbagai penafsiran yang berlainan sehingga berdampak macam-macam. Oya, dalam berkomunikasi juga perlu mengembangkan sikap terbuka agar menimbulkan rasa percaya dari komunikan sehingga tidak menimbulkan sikap saling curiga.

Dan yang terakhir tentang Humble, di mana dalam setiap membangun komunikasi yang efektif haruslah dengan sikap rendah hati. Menurut para ahli komunikasi, sikap rendah diri ini sangat terkait erat dengan sikap menghargai orang lain.
