Pretty little 6 week old Mango Kush

in #cannabis5 years ago

Here are some closer looks at a Mango Kush seedling of mine. It's 6 weeks old, grown 200% organically from seed, and the sex is unknown. This plant is known as "Beau", part of a matching pair I transplanted here. They're a few weeks behind my main lockdown crop of MK Ultras, so they don't get much exposure. To make up for that, here's a few shots of this healthy young plant!

Lush!

As you can see, every possible side branch has decided to spring forth, as a result of the top being removed about a week ago. It can't support full growth from them all, so I'm currently deciding which ones to remove in order to bolster the ones that remain.

The top node has 2 branches extending upward, and looks promising. They'll stay.

Overall, it's a healthy and happy plant. There are plenty of natural nutrients in that soil (worm castings), so after another couple weeks of vegetating, I will probably flip them into flower along with the older MK Ultras.

Closer look at the nodes

As you can see below, all the nodes look well-formed and healthy. I'm almost certain to remove the lowest side-branches, and keep the top, but I'm undecided on the middle two nodes.

Regardless, it's a good-looking plant (as is its twin, "Sears"). Stay tuned to find out what I decide to do with all this side growth, and how the flowers turn out. I've never grown (or medicated with) Mango Kush before, so this will be interesting.

Grow in peace.
