Ukraine studies using Blockchain to solve land ownership problem.

in #news7 years ago

Ukraine has a major problem of land ownership. Ownership of a piece of land is sometimes a contest between several people claiming to be owners of that piece, each presenting a different document to prove what it says.

So the country will test a new land registry system using blockchain - the same technology that allows Bitcoin to work and that IBM believes it can change every aspect of the world. And you can.

With the test, approved by the deputy minister of Agricultural and Food Policy, Maksym Martyniuk, which will begin in October, the government's intention is to minimize possible land-related illegalities, as well as having a reliable record of what happens to them and Scanning. It can also end with the black market that exists there.
