What we've seen so far! NORTH IDAHO! (Plus what I miss from the South)

What's up, Steemers?!

I've been a little MIA lately. As you may have read if you followed my previous posts, my wife @alovelymess and I have now moved to Northern Idaho. Actually, tonight we will have been here one week! It's been a fun week, and I haven't even seen a fraction of what Idaho, (even this town), has to offer yet! I do know I am loving it already though! When we arrived, the smoke was so heavy and thick from the Montana fires that we couldn't even see nearby mountains. The last few days it has been raining, so that has helped tremendously! Hopefully the fire ban will soon be lifted so we can have campfires!

Biggest complaint so far:

Me: Can I get a sweet tea with that?
Person: We don't have sweet tea, but we have packs of sugar.

I'm sorry, what? If this happened in Tennessee the state would riot. Kidding of course, but I am slowly facing the reality that....This isn't the south anymore. Plus I can just pick up a gallon of Milo's tea at "The" Walmart! Which attracts some interesting entertainment no matter what state you're in..

Beautiful view of the lake at City Beach! You can see this was before the rain, still smoky.

Deer and Turkey come up in the yard all the time! Two 8 point bucks were back there yesterday!

We've seen a couple of beautiful creeks!

Last night @alovelymess and I grabbed a bite to eat at a place called Dubb's. This was a small dipped ice cream cone and a small hot fudge sundae. Insane!
