🥔🥔 UKRAINIAN DERUNY!! (LATKES/HASHBROWNS!) 🥔🥔
As you may or may not know, my wife ( @alovelymess ) is Ukrainian. This is a dish that she loves and reminds her of there! I have never tried it, so she recommended making them following her sister's recipe.

First off, these were AMAZING! I absolutely loved them. The onions and garlic really set it off. Would definitely make these again! We had them with steak and green beans, but they would go great with breakfast as well. Onto the fun!
First we started off by shredding 3 potatoes after washing and peeling them. I love food processors!
After that, we diced half an onion and minced up 3 garlic cloves, then added them to the potatoes along with 2 eggs, salt, and pepper.
Next, we took about a wooden spoon worth of the mixture and dropped it into hot oil.
When they browned, we flipped them and cooked for another couple minutes.
Secret
I love spicy food, so I added some of our homegrown Jalapenos and red pepper flakes to the last couple we made. Don't tell!!!
We were super happy with how these tasted and can't wait to make them again!

Love this! My Grandma was from Ukraine and made the best food. Never liked the borshe, Yuk..... But pagash and pierogies, pigs in the blanket, so good.

Never tried pierogies? Better put that on your to do list. They go great with latkes. Add some kielbasa and you have the perfect Polish meal.

I love DERUNY, my mama used to cook them a lots !) We eat them mainly with sour cream.
