RALLY NEWS: Østberg back with Citroën!
Norwegian Mads Østberg just released on Facebook that he is back in Citroën Racing for Rally Sweden. That's great news for WRC fans who like Mad Mads and his crazy long jumps. Will he dominate Colins Crest in 2018 as well?
Østberg drove for Citroën in 2014 and 2015, and is now back to pilot the 3rd C3 in Sweden, alongside Kris Meeke and Craig Breen.
Østberg spilled the beans on stage at the Autosport Internationals 2018 WRC launch:
"It's a small surprise to me as well - I'm really happy and really honoured to be part of the team for Rally Sweden. It's one of my favourite events and one I've been on the podium at many times so I'll try to do that again. I feel really motivated and I hope that together we can deliver good results and have a few more appearances durng the year. This team is a great team, I've worked with them in the past and I know what they stand for,"
says Østberg, confirming that he will only drive for Citrôen in Sweden. Let's hope he gets more chances. We need Mad Mads in the WRC circus.
