Have you ever been interested in checking the labels or ingredients of the products you buy? Did you know their importance or did you know how to interpret them?

Well being mom we are always concerned about our family I am also do, because whenever I take anything to buy I checked it's ingredients and yeah few things I really avoid to understand but with the help of this learning class I also clear my doubts that were preservatives which are not good for health.

Through checking label only one way I can understand what I am cooking or buying is healthy or unhealthy for me and of course for my family. Perhaps it's true I didn't understand it in real sense but this learning challenge just awake me what I am eating.

Share 2 images where we can see a processed product and an ultra-processed one and explain why you classify them that way.

Processed product: yogurt

Natural is always best as I bought this yoghurt it contains fresh whole milk which healthy for us although there is addition of rice cornstarch but still it's good because there is no extra addition of anything which making it unsafe for health.

If we see it's nutrition value

Nutrientsamount
Fat7.4 grams
Carbohydrates9.4 gram
Protein6.2grams
Calcium200mg
Vitamin D600 i.u

So it's not bad choice if we concerned about our health it has good quantities of vitamin D and calcium which are essentially required to the body.

Ultra-processed product: biscuits

It's one of the common biscuits which I often eat with tea today I have come to know how much it's toxic for my family health. Although it has addition of sugar, wheat egg but alot of oil such as palm oil, soyabean oil cotton seed oil making it healthy injurious, because these are partially hydrogenated oil which are not safe for the health.

The other toxic thing is the addition of more amounts of sugar which passively accumulation in body and become the reason of the obesity and other problems.

Here is the extra virgin olive oil which is health safe if used in moderate amounts. Hence it don't contain any trans fat and other additives which are toxic for health.

It has 0 sugar and other additives there It can be used for good health if we move towards the used of oil. It has 118 calories per serving that is not so bad because of having no trans fat in it.

Although it has wheat flour in making but addition of vegetables, preservatives along with food colour making it unsafe for our health. These insatan noodles I often cooked at home due to easy making but now I have come to know how much unhealthy we are eating.
