Market Crash Coming Soon?
I am not shorting the Dow or S&P right now, but I am buying gold and oil stocks and other commodities that I think will do well in the event of a down turn in US markets.
Any experienced trader can tell the stock market is at least due for a healthy correction. It's gone almost straight up the last 8 or 9 years.
I would love to hear other thoughts on this.

The same thoughts we have been hearing since 2014...the market cant go any higher....
Well someone needs to tell the market.
Logic mandates that at some point it has to correct but I dont think it will be for a while. The world economy is actually doing fairly well and, with about 50% of the revenue for the S&P coming from overseas, we might see good earnings for a number of quarters.
The thing about black swans is you dont see them until they hit but watch the Central Banks. If a number start tightening at the same time, they probably will throttle things.
Logic be damned with this market...it simply isnt listening.
Yea logic has been telling me to short the Dow or buy inverse ETFs the last few weeks, but I'm glad I didn't, I'd be getting killed right now
I made the mistake of sitting out a while back when I thought the market was too extended....missed a lot of upside....at least I didnt bet against it.
The trend is your friend and until proven otherwise, stay long and strong. That is my view. Big pullbacks are 2%-3% these days...the bull wont quit.
