Jerry Banfield + @Ned + Free Giveaway
Jerry Banfield made a video saying that he is walking away from his steem witness server (or so he says) due to the censorship that is happening. It is kind of a big deal since he "was" a top 20.
@ned is powering down and has said he is moving his stake (my best guess is at least part of his stake will end up in a SMT)
What we have left is steem cleaners.

Sorry if you live there but the situation there is relevant to where steem is now. People in power or gaining influence over a system only to wreck it.
I am sure the people at steem cleaners are still patting themselves on the back for wrecking my free vote giveaway. We sure showed that guy a lesson ...... yes you did :)
It is lucky for us that in crypto you can still vote with your wallet when greedy retards take over.
Not one time did anyone from steem cleaners say hey we are sorry or made any attempt to right the wrong they did to me and my account. I am sure they have made zero effort towards the other thousands of steem accounts that they have down voted.
Steem cleaners started with a good purpose. To fight fraud and abuse. They have veered off course. Now they are the censorship police. If they don't agree with or like your post, down voted. If they feel like not enough effort was put into YOUR post, down voted. If the people "working" at steem cleaners with 100 sp in there account think you are making to much money off of your investment, down voted. If they "insert here", down voted.

I feel your frustration. I got muted forever by the Steemit Inc "Director of Communications" for asking why Poloniex and HitBTC have frozen their wallets for so long and why SteemCleaners rules are different than Steemit Inc rules for citing. It is apparent Steemit Inc doesn't have a care in the world about transparency.
I plan to change that. I have started an effort to reward witnesses with witness votes if they address our needs. So far I have a collective of over 300 Million Vests of witness voting power. Our first issue to address is to get STEEM and SBD on more major exchanges. That is a baby step. If this work catches on, I will continue addressing other issues. We will be able to influence the witnesses and eventually Steemit Inc to be transparent and to address our needs.
If you will like to join, all you need to do is to promise to use a witness vote for the witness that gets STEEM or SBD listed on a major exchange.
As you know, witness votes are free to use and you can change the vote any time you like.
Count me in, I have some votes free.

I feel that there are many things happening at the same time, the fall of the BTC, the problems that steemit presents, problems among the community, people protesting in the exchanges for the price of the coins.

things like steemcleaners are a bummer on the platform indeed. Thankfully we are workinghard to counteract those types of activities.

Hi, it was very scary reading your post, I have read one more post today regarding the censorship happening, and it feels like if they don't agree with you for any reason, you are done. Very scary and to be worried. People too are becoming less tolerant, today one of my friends commented on a post that he like binance more than bittrex, he was down flagged by the post creator, as the creator was discussing how much he like bittrex. That' s ridiculous. Now one cannot even express his thoughts openly. Thank you.
