This is a very distinguish Dream Theater guitar solo, even if its from their 2013 self titled album, it sounds like their early stuff, which i like a lot...
Again i programmed drums and the whole backing track, i should do the complete song some time...

i was thinking of doing some covers too. do you know the rules of monetizing while covering songs from other artist?
Posting covers on steemit is perfectly ok, you are not really "monetizing" as you are not getting revenues from advertising or selling your covers (you are not making commercial use of the tracks)... You are just posting your performances on a social network as you would do on facebook, youtube or instagram... You are getting steem tokens from the likes, which is not actual money, so its all ok... ;) ... Of course, if you are doing a cover point it out clearly, its not your song, its just your interpretation...
