An Accidental Entrant into the World of Cryptocurrencies

Dear Steemians,

I wish you, great people, a prosperous new year.

Actually, I wanted to start my journey with Steemit five months back. But, something unexpected delayed my first post
this much.

Now, a little about myself.

My beloved friends, I am Arun Kumar from Kerala, India.

I was working as a project director in a firm till August 31,2015.

I quit the job when my mom fell ill and started coaching students for
competitive examinations.

Like the title of my post says, my entry into the world of cryptocurrencies
is quite accidental.

In fact, I came across the word 'bitcoin' before knowing the word
'cryptocurrecncy'.

I found the word bitcoin on a piece of paper used to wrap something
in my former office. I found the word strange and started 'googling'
about it. It drew me into the wonderful world of cryptocurrencies
and I started to look at it seriously.

I started to collect satoshis from various faucets and soon found that
it will take years to collect one bitcoin. But, I continued to collect
satoshis and by the beginning of 2016, I had about 0.08 btc in my
wallet. then I started trading(at that time I was getting huge profits
from various cryptoexchanges. Within 15 months I had more than
sixteen bitcoins in my wallet. It helped me a lot in the treatment
of my mom.
But now my wallet is nearly empty. I had to sell the bitcoins for
some particular purpose. I don't regret my decision. In the next
blog, I will disclose why sold all my bitcoins.

Now, I am on a mission which I disclose later.

Even now, I am only a beginner in the world of cryptocurrency.

So, I am eagerly waiting to 'hear' from the community.

Also, I have to share my views and ideas on life, spirituality and
in a lot of subjects and of course in cryptocurrency.
