"What on earth am here for"
Have you ever ask yourself that? it all starts with God. Colossians 1:16 for everything, absolutely everything, above and below, viable and invisible, everything got started in him and finds it purpose in him.
The purpose of you life is greater than your own personal fulfilment, your peace of mind, or even your happiness. it greater than your family, career or even your wildest dreams and ambition. To know your purpose on earth you must begin with God.
Your purpose on earth is not about what you want to be but what he wants you to be, we ask self-centered question like what should I do with my life, my goal, what do I want to be, my ambitions my dream for my future? been self centered will never reveal our purpose because the bible says "it is God who direct the lives of his creatures , everyone life is in his power" you were made by God and for God, and until you understand that life will never make sense.
Your birth was no mistake or mishap, and your life is no fluke of nature. your parent may not have planned you, but God did. He was not at all surprised by your birth. In fact, he expected it "long before you were conceived by your parent, you were conceived in the mind of God" you are who you are for a reason, you're part of an intricate plan, you're precious and perfect unique design called God's special man or woman.
Everyone life is driven by something, right now you may be driven by painful memory, a hunting fear, or an unconscious belief. Nothing matters more than knowing God's purpose for your life and nothing can compensate for not knowing them. it is impossible to do everything people want you to do, you have just enough time to do God's will. if you can't get it all done, it means you're trying to do more than God intended for you to do. Without a clear purpose, you will keep changing jobs, relationship, churches hoping each change will settle the confusion.
"You weren't put on earth to be remembered. You were put here to prepare for eternity"
This life is not all there is. At most, you will live a hundred years on earth, but you will spend forever in eternity, your time on earth is. This life is preparation for the next because God designed you, in his image to live for eternity. Death always seems unnatural and unfair the reason we feel we should live forever is that God wired our brain with that desire but when you live in light of eternity your value change
"And I wonder if any of our leaders here in nigeria have any value in heaven"
The reason I said that's because during the time of campaign, all they do make is false promises to the masses and after the election as been won all you hear is we're in recession like we are the one who put ourselves into recession, putting blame on the past government, and I can't just imagining our dear president saying "his wife belongs to the inner room" is that why we are here? we have been in recession for 3 years now and I don't see that ending anytime soon, although am not here to judge anyone but all I have to say to them is stop making false promises and face reality.
"it doesn't cost a penny to be truthful"
