When I visited the steemgigs website I discovered the home page has no logo or cover page so I decided to this design for the website....
Steemgigs . org is a place where you get offers for what ever service you can render , looking at the logo, the name of the site could be seen to be written as well as a wavy design linking the texts, this wavy design means no matter what service you render or in demand for you can always follow the wave of the steemgigs website to locate your demands and supply.

Benefits / Improvements

Looking at this logo, it will help to make the website more nice, the website isn't too good without a logo as this makes it less attractive and will also be available for future logo usage for the website when uploaded on the site ...

Tools

The tool used for this logo design is Coreldraw X6 and the steps involved in the creation is as follows:

• Step1:
  The texts steem(with font type; MS PGothic size 25.362) and Gigs (font size; 24) are been written and arranged on the workspace
  

• Step2:
  Text colours were been added to the texts (baby blue #6699FF and colour number #336699 were been inter used for the don't colors and line colors)
  

• step 3:
  A line was been drawn to cut across the Letter G in the Gigs (line color; desert blue #336699 and thickness 2.050)
  

• step 4:
  Brushstroke effect was been used to make a wavy movement (the wave means no matter what service you render you can flow along with steemgigs as long as you render a service)
  
  This wave was then painted with the colors mentioned before and inserted to the design
  

• Step 5:
  Little design touches was added to the text G and m
  

And we arrived at the final design of the logo
