Miners Started To Implement SegWit2x Software - Markets In Green
Yesterday a new version of the SegWit2x software was released on GitHub and a few prominent Bitcoin miners showed support for it, announcing they will implement it ASAP. A few mining pools may already run this version of software as we speak.
The debate over which improvement is better (UASF or SegWit2x) is still quite hot and, to the average user, almost senseless. At the core of it, though, is the fear - justified - that modifications using SegWit2x will eventually lead to a "capture" of Bitcoin in the corporate world. The details are very fine, though, and a lot has to happen until this will become real.

Caused or not by this event, a solid spike over the entire cryptocurrency space can be clearly seen, with advances of more than 20% in some cases (still a lot to recoup after last two weeks, though).
August 1st will certainly bring more clarity to this situation, but, until then, enjoy your Bitcoins floating over $2000 again.

yeah its confusing for me at least is segwit assured no matter what?
SegWit2x "contains" SegWit, but it comes with a block increase (or even a variable block size, according to some people who looked at the code). This increase in size is a concession made to miners.
Do the miners earn more with the increase in block size?
probably not unless the fees get high, not sure just guessing it's unrelated, because you have to solve the equation not the block size? :D
