Top 10 Cryptos

At the moment of writing top 10 assets were all in green.

Bitcoin is trying to break the $7,500 resistance level and altcoins are following suit. Although this small bull run is encouraging, I don't think we're out of the woods yet, a strong bear pressure at $7,500 could send BTC again below $6,000.

STEEM And SBD

At the moment of writing, STEEM was trading, on average, at $2.23 on Coinmarketcap, sharply up from yesterday.

On Bittrex, the 30 minutes chart shows 3 consecutive solid green candles, driving the price above 35k satoshis, then a correction down to 29k satoshis:

The 1 hour chart shows a sudden swing, followed by a correction down to the half of the gain. In just one hour, STEEM appreciated with more than 35%:

The 1 day chart shows a clear breakout, but the long up wick of the current candle may indicate it may be short lived.

SBD was trading, at the moment of writing, at $2.91 on average, sharply up from yesterday.

The 30 minutes chart on Bittrex shows big pump, with two small corrections.

The 1 hour chart shows an impressive upswing, with a smaller correction (in percentages) than STEEM:

The 1 day chart is indicating a more consistent growth than in STEEM, on the same solid uptrend.

SBD to STEEM Ratio

At the moment of writing, according to steem.supply, for 1 SBD you get 1.285 STEEM, sharply up from yesterday and parity is again broken.

Overall opinion: Markets are showing signs of improvement, but the previous losses are still not covered by the current growth. STEEM and SBD are pumping, and, looking at the trading trends, it seems traders are yet again more interested in SBD than in STEEM (which is also appreciating following the same trend, but at a lower pace).

Wanna know when you're getting paid?

I know the feeling. That's why I created steem.supply, an easy to use and accurate tool for calculating your Steemit rewards

It's free to use, but if you think this is a useful addition, I'd appreciate your witness vote.

Thank you!

I don't think we're out of the woods yet - that was a funny one, all so true, because we were just through a bear market for so long that the current pump seem too good to be true, but that does not stop me from hoping that the bear is done :)

This part needs fixing - "according to steem.supply, you could buy 1 STEEM with 1.285 SBD"
I just bought 43 Steem with 34.3 SBD...

Yeap, I stand corrected.

Wonderful recovery for Steem and SBD, almost 50% up...

I hope that the price continue to go higher. Everyone gets excited every time the price of steem and sbd go up. These price pump is a boost, to be active again for those steemian that at are not active anymore.

I'm so happy to see the market cover up a bit , the jump is STEEM price just make my day

Hey man! I don't really understand anything about markets and stuff hahaha. What I understand is the steem.supply app. Is very cool and useful, I've been using it constantly.

I was wondering if is possible to do the same for the curation rewards? Maybe is harder because is changing all the time right? I don't really get a full grasp of the curation rewards yet hahaha I just was thinking that something like that would be useful for newbies like me.

Anyways, thanks for the contribution to the community.

You have my vote for witness now ;)

Thanks for the nice words and for the witness vote, really appreciate it. As for the curation rewards, it's a constant request from the community and it's on my todo list. I just don't have an ETA for it yet.

Steem on!

Well you said you thought the announcement of hive mind might have a positive influence on prices and it seems you were right @dragosroua. But then it might be nothing to do with that at all!

I was expecting this to happen at the end of the Easter weekend when people got back into trading again. 😂

Any idea what made the change in Steem price ? this is a very big jump

The first quarter of the year has been bad and now we seeing small gains and we might have a massive pump like last Nov-Dec ......hope for the best.
We are waiting for communities and SMTs.

I'm just so happy to have bought some Steem last night. Then I also powered up a bit today using the SBD that I earned from my posts.

A lot of people were wanting to cash out before it fell again which is their choice if they need it.

If you don't then powering up and HODL are what I would recommend.

Just keep amassing SP.

My brother kicked himself for not buying Steem last night but I know it can still swing back down but you take little triumphs.
