Witness Update - DragosRoua
This is my last update as a witness - for 2019 (don't worry, I will continue to support the network in 2020 as well).
It's been an interesting year, with a couple of blockchain halts due to some audacious (let's call them like that) hardforks and a lot of technical development. We now have communities in beta and the SMT testnet live. The Steemit Inc team started to deliver and a lot of the Steemit audience changed - for the better, in my opinion.
As a Steemit witness for more than 3 years now, I consider 2019 a good year and I'm looking forward towards 2020.
Technical and Economical
- continued to subsidize, for the 54th week in a row, as the witness revenue is not matching the hardware expenses. That makes more than one year since I decided to support the network by subsidizing my bare metal setup
- kept the block size at 65,535
- kept the registration fee at 3 STEEM
- kept the SBD interest at 0%
I am on the 61th position, one spot down from last week, thank you for your support.
You will continue to have my automatic upvote going into 2020. Keep up the great work!
