My name is Jeff and thank you for creating this platform. It's great to be able to be in a community of choice and freedom to be able to share what each one of wants to share without being controlled with regard to content.

I'm a 50+ bloke who realised late in life that I was trapped in the mould of go to school-work hard-get good grades-go to college-get a good job-work for 40 hours/week for 40 years-retire and rot because the pension won't sustain me. Thank goodness I started to make decisions to extricate myself from this life just under 2 years ago because I have discovered a whole different focus of meaning since, mostly that of creating value for others and in so doing the universe reciprocates when other folk benefit from our endeavours.

Among my personal interests are reading, trout fishing, travelling, hiking, and the outdoors. I have 2 adult children starting out in their lives - I hope I can get through to them before they fall into the same trap as their parents did. Life is to be lived, not to conform to the brainwashing of 12 years of institutionalisation for the rest of our lives. My Rottweiler owns me when I'm home and brings a great deal of peace and love to our lives.

Outside of corporate hours - I haven't escaped yet - I spend my time growing a network marketing business involved in cryptocurrency mining and eSports. We are a technology company that shares its revenue through leveraging the latest and fastest growing trends on the Internet. I have people in my team who have been able to escape corporate and are living of the proceeds of their mining activities and gaming.

I have pretty boring life story really. Throughout my life I have had positions of increasing responsibility and taken on leadership of additional functions; this also extends to my private life. Most of my working life has been spent in steel making - metallurgy being an environment for which I have a passion. My objective is to add value to my workplace, rise to challenges, and continue learning my craft. My preferred approach to business and resources is to focus on long-term sustainability. I am hardworking and honest. I believe in life-long learning and have a passion for being involved in creating opportunities for growing people, developing an intrinsic motivation within people through the meaning of their work to perform to the best of their ability.
