SteemitPrice.com - Track The Price of $STEEM!
Hey everybody,
This is my first Steemit post, and I'll keep it short and sweet. I'm an engineer, and have been seeing Steemit pop up all over my timelines the past few weeks, so I decided to give it a shot. Although I'm not a man of many words, I wanted to be able to contribute to the community in some way. I decided to make a simple page where you can watch the market stats of $STEEM in real time, auto updating every 10 seconds, pulled from CoinCap's API.
I'm happy to share with the community - SteemitPrice.com!
This was put together as a weekend project, and I would love to hear any and all feedback. The color of red/green changes due to its collective 24 hour change in price. I plan on adding charts and soome more data points in the coming week.

Great first post, this can be quite useful to track the prices.
Where do you get the data from, a single exchange or multiple ones?
I am using CoinCap currently. Do you have any other suggestions?
They track multiple markets, so it should be fine then.

Maybe you can also add Steem Dollar, coinmarketcap.com supports it as well.

My sister is always asking what the price of SBD is. Can you include that so she can just check that instead of getting me to check Bittrex??
Thanks for the work you put in. Keep an eye on the price, but focus mostly on building the community. That's where the value comes from. Thanks for doing your part.
