Ottawa police said that wanted the gun after yesterday's Heist bitcoin exchange
The canadian edition of CBC News reports that the robbers were looking for cash for cryptocurrency exchange.
This is not the first attack on holders of the cryptocurrency. In November, the resident of new Jersey Louis Mets attacked the owner of the ether. Threatening with a pistol, he took the victim's mobile phone and private keys, which he used to gain access to the digital wallet. As a result, he kidnapped the cryptocurrency amounting to $1.8 million. The offender faces up to 25 years in prison.
