Basketball Fundamentals: Lay-up Left & Right Hands 🏀
Driving to the basket on the opposite side of your dominant hand is a difficult especially if you haven't practice you other hand. Most of your layup will be unsuccessful because you can't control the ball.
That's why we need to practice both of our hands to layup in order to be successful when driving to the basket.
My throwback layup picture back in 2010 when i was a High School Basketball Player. I was a skinny kid back then haha!
I am dominant on my left hand so back then I practice my right hand on making a layup all the time so I can layup on either side of the basket.
One of the famous NBA player Kyri Irving from the Boston Celtics is one of the very good at making layups on either hands. He has sa magic powers when it comes to driving to the lane.
